Misunderstandings about the solar film
The thermal insulation rate of the solar film is very high, but why is it not very effective? The car is still very hot?
From purchase to actual installation, some merchants may exaggerate or confuse the parameters in their promotional slogans.

Some solar film merchants may confuse the front and rear gear parameters when promoting, or use infrared blocking rate as insulation rate to promote.
This leads to a high insulation rate, but the actual effect is mediocre!

How to view insulation parameters
The parameters of the solar film:
Solar energy total barrier rate, visible light transmittance, ultraviolet barrier rate, visible light reflectance rate
The insulation effect mainly depends on the total solar energy barrier rate
The higher the total solar energy barrier rate, the better the thermal insulation performance of the coated glass, and vice versa, the lower the thermal insulation performance.
So whether the solar film is insulated or not depends mainly on the total blocking rate of solar energy.
The total solar light blocking rate of mainstream solar films is currently around 30% to 40%. If some solar films have a promotional barrier rate of over 60%, it is necessary to distinguish which parameter they are referring to.
Note: Infrared isolation rate ≠ Total solar isolation rate
Many businesses confuse the infrared blocking rate with the total blocking rate of solar energy to promote it, and the blocking rate is often 80% or 90%.
The total insulation rate of solar energy is roughly equal to the infrared barrier rate multiplied by 53%, plus the visible light barrier rate multiplied by 44%, and then the ultraviolet barrier rate multiplied by 3%.
So the infrared barrier rate cannot fully represent the insulation rate.
