1、Pond renovationDredging: Ponds with a large amount of sediment should adhere to dredging, exposure to sunlight, and reinforcement of the pond banks. Choose a good water source and location to set up inlet and outlet ports, and require a high-level water storage depth of 2.5-3m.

2. Pond cleaning: New and old ponds adhere to strict pond cleaning every year (removing harmful organisms, killing pathogenic bacteria, insect eggs, etc.). Practice has proven that "Tongsha" is a good pond cleaning product (advantage: time-saving and labor-saving), and it is recommended to use a dosage of 500g per acre at a depth of 30cm.

3. Fertilizer and water: After 7 to 10 days of clearing the pond, detoxify ("water purification and detoxification agent" or "detoxification and refreshing water treasure"), add water to cultivate algae, and the seedlings need fertilizer and water to overwinter. Fermented and decomposed organic fertilizer of 100-200kg/mu can be used, or "Zhengshui Yizao Gao" (low-temperature special type)+"Zhengshui Peptide Bao" fertilizer water. Moderate fertilizer water can not only provide palatable natural bait for silver carp, but also provide sufficient water dissolved oxygen for breeding objects through sufficient photosynthesis of phytoplankton.

4. Water test: Regardless of the method used to clean the pond, the water from the cleaned pond must be taken from a bucket or basin before releasing the seedlings. A small amount of seedlings must be tested for water, and only after 24 hours of safety can the seedlings be released.

Tilapia are unable to survive in temperate climates because they require warm water. The pure strain of the blue tilapia, Oreochromis aureus, has the greatest cold tolerance and dies at 45 °F (7 °C), while all other species of tilapia die at a range of 52 to 62 °F (11 to 17 °C). As a result, they cannot invade temperate habitats and disrupt native ecologies in temperate zones; however, they have spread widely beyond their points of introduction in many fresh and brackish tropical and subtropical habitats, often disrupting native species significantly. Because of this, tilapia are on the IUCN's 100 of the World's Worst Alien Invasive Species list. In the United States, tilapia are found in much of the south, especially Florida and Texas, and as far north as Idaho, where they survive in power-plant discharge zones.Tilapia are also currently stocked in the Phoenix, Arizona canal system as an algal growth-control measure. Many state fish and wildlife agencies in the United States, Australia, South Africa, and elsewhere consider them to be invasive species.
