Product Introduction

With the low carbon economy becoming a global hotspot, energy-saving materials are increasingly favored by people. In building energy conservation, the transmission of light and thermal insulation of glass is a very critical issue. In buildings with large areas of external windows and transparent ceilings, car windows, and other occasions, the thermal radiation of sunlight can lead to increased energy consumption of air conditioners, resulting in significant energy waste. Therefore, the development of efficient nano thermal insulation and energy-saving coatings is extremely urgent, and nano transparent thermal insulation coatings have become a new favorite of energy-saving and environmental protection coatings.


The key to transparent thermal insulation coatings is to find nano semiconductor materials that have selective transmittance to sunlight. Among them, nano ATO tin antimony oxide has good visible light transmittance and infrared barrier properties, making it an ideal thermal insulation material.


It can be used in glass (building curtain wall glass, automotive window glass lighting occasions), coatings, coatings, polymer films, electronics and other fields. While ensuring full visible light transmission, it maximizes the isolation of solar heat radiation.


Its preparation process is to synthesize inorganic nano semiconductor materials and organic polymer polymers through appropriate methods to prepare a transparent and heat insulating coating with spectral selectivity, and then coat the coating onto glass to form a film. This method does not require complex equipment, is convenient for construction, and can adjust the type and ratio of each component in the coating according to actual needs to produce products that adapt to different environments.


Example 1:

Preparation of nano ATO slurry

Take a certain amount of ATO nano powder (according to several groups of test data, the addition amount of nano ATO is 1-10%) into a conical flask, add a certain amount of deionized water, and then add silane coupling agent KH-570 Dispersant (Comparing the dispersion effects of chelating dispersant, ionic dispersant, and block dispersant, it was found that using chelating dispersant to disperse nano ATO slurry can obtain a coating with good thermal insulation performance on the premise of transparency.) Mix them evenly, adjust the pH value to 7-9, and then use an electronic constant speed mixer for high-speed shearing, and ultrasonic dispersant for ultrasonic treatment until the set time. Remove the slurry for standby.


Preparation of transparent thermal insulation coatings

Under the condition of magnetic stirring, nano ATO water-based slurry is added to waterborne polyurethane, and a certain amount of wetting agent, dispersing agent, thickener, film forming agent, and leveling agent are sequentially added in a certain proportion. The PH value is adjusted to 7-9, and a combination of high-speed shear dispersion and ultrasonic dispersion is carried out (the results show that high-speed shear dispersion for 2h and ultrasonic dispersion for 20min can yield a well dispersed slurry, and the prepared coating has excellent thermal insulation effect), The ATO water-based polyurethane transparent thermal insulation glass coating with good dispersion was obtained. If a large number of bubbles appear during the mixing process, add defoaming agent dropwise to defoaming.


The composite coating made of nano tin antimony oxide ATO water-based slurry and waterborne polyurethane resin PU not only has good film forming performance, but also achieves an infrared barrier of 70-75% while maintaining a visible light transmittance of 83%. After thermal insulation, the temperature difference can be maintained at about 7 ℃, which conforms to the good thermal insulation performance of the coating. The study found that when the ATO content was 8%, the thermal insulation, hardness, wear resistance, water resistance, and adhesion of the coating were the best.


Example 2:

Preparation of nano ATO slurry and preparation of transparent thermal insulation coating:


Weigh a certain amount of nano ATO powder and a silane coupling agent that accounts for 1.5% of ATO, add them to a certain amount of 95% ethanol, disperse them through ultrasound for 40 minutes, transfer them to a bottle with a reflux device, stir for 4 hours, and dry them under vacuum at 80 ℃. A nano ATO slurry was prepared by adding deionized water, dispersant, wetting agent, and thickening agent to the sand grinding and stirring dispersion machine, stirring evenly, adding treated nano ATO, high-speed dispersing sand grinding for 6-8 hours, and adjusting the pH to 7.5-8.0. Stir and mix the film forming material with the nano ATO slurry, and then add defoaming agent, leveling agent, bactericide, and PH regulator. Stir and mix evenly to prepare a transparent thermal insulation coating.


Using silicone as a film forming agent, ethanol as a solvent, and adding nano ATO, the silicone nano ATO heat insulating transparent coating is prepared. The coating film has a good adhesion to glass, a temperature difference of 12-15 ℃, and a visible light transmittance of over 80%. It has a good heat insulation effect and sufficient visible light transmittance, with significant energy-saving effects.


Nano ATO transparent thermal insulation coating is prepared by taking nano tin oxide antimony ATO water-based slurry and organic silicon lotion modified acrylic resin as film-forming material. Its film has a transmissivity of 81.5% - 85% to visible light, and a barrier ratio of 62.5% - 65% to near-infrared light. The film has excellent stain resistance, weather resistance and environmental protection.


A nano ATO two component waterborne polyurethane heat insulating transparent coating was prepared using two component waterborne polyurethane as a film forming agent, nano tin antimony oxide (ATO) added, and distilled water as a solvent. The prepared coating was coated on glass, and the transmittance in the visible and infrared light regions and its impact on thermal insulation properties were tested. The effects of different curing processes on the mechanical properties of the coating were compared. The results show that the nano ATO transparent thermal insulation coating film has good adhesion to glass, a temperature difference of 7.3 ℃, and a visible light transmittance of 85%. It has a good thermal insulation effect and sufficient transparency in the visible light region, with significant energy-saving effects.
